Bequests"Making a commitment today to turn obstacles into opportunities for individuals in the future was one of the more meaningful decisions our family has made. Knowing that we can create learning pathways for individuals who are bound to blaze their own unique and incredible trails brings us a profound sense of peace."

Bequests"When I was in third grade, I became aware of a classmate/friend who was recognized by our teacher as being unable to learn in ways that his classmates could. 'Learning disabilities' in those days were called 'learning problems.' I saw that my friend was falling behind. Given the reality that kids can be cruel, I saw classmates making fun of my friend; both his social life and academic life were obviously negatively impacted. I have never forgotten that experience.
Years ago, I met Alan Pesky who shared with me an updated picture of 'learning disabilities,' the state of interventions/remediations AND the science that has developed over recent years. I was intrigued. The opportunities to (in today's words) 'change the trajectory of people's lives' added up to a huge challenge that has been met with determined, skilled LPLC professionals.
I have supported LPLC for many years and now welcome the opportunity to support the envisioned future of this marvelous organization."

IRA/RMD"When considering our philanthropic priorities we knew that we wanted to give to an organization that was personally meaningful and in a way that would be impactful. We had the gift of taking advantage of required minimum distributions (RMDs) from Sandy's IRA-an opportunity to avoid paying taxes on the amount we withdrew and donated to charity. There is nothing that gives us greater joy than being able to support Lee Pesky Learning Center in this manner on an annual basis. Creating pathways to learning for countless children and educators is the greatest gift we could give."

Endowment"All three of our children have benefited from the expertise and talent of Lee Pesky Learning Center's staff. They are now thriving adults. We believe strongly in the work of the LPLC and want to help future generations benefit from their great work."
